Fredag, 18/09, 18:30, Platanias Beach "Public utgrävning" avser öppnandet av varje bo, utförd av utbildade ARCHELON volontärer, med publiken inbjuden att delta.Öppningen av en Sea Turtle Nest görs alltid efter ett visst antal dagar, när alla baby havssköldpaddor har inkuberats.På detta sätt registrerar ARCHELON andelen inkubationsframgångar, nämligen hur många havssköldpaddor som framgångsrikt kom in i vattnet, hur många som inte var inkuberade och orsakerna till detta.Ibland, i boet, finns det försenade baby havssköldpaddor som noggrant frigörs av ARCHELON volontärer och guidas mot vattnet, som väcker allmänhetens observatörer under utgrävningen. Turtle public excavations
Friday, 18/09, 18:30, Platanias Beach “Public excavation” refers to the opening of every nest, conducted by trained ARCHELON volunteers, with the audience invited to attend. The opening of a Sea Turtle Nest is always done after a set number of days, once all the baby sea turtles have incubated. In this way, ARCHELON records the percentage of incubation success, namely, how many baby sea turtles successfully entered the water, how many were not incubated, and the reasons for this. Sometimes, in the nest, there are belated baby sea turtles that are carefully set free by ARCHELON volunteers and guided toward the water, which excites the public observers during the excavation.
