The beach of Rethymno is located in the east of the city and extends to a length of 12 km, ending in the area of Scaleta. It is a beautiful beach with crystal clear water and golden sand, awarded with 12 Blue Flags. It’s fully organized with sun beds, umbrellas, showers, water sports, beach bars, restaurants, taverns, lifeguards, etc., but there are many places for peace and quiet away from the suffocating and intense rhythms of everyday life.
