Every July, the heart of Rethymno beats inside its lush Municipal Garden. From July 3rd to July 7th, 2026 , the city invites locals and visitors from around the world to the Cretan Diet Festival , a celebration that goes far beyond a typical food fair. The Prelude - Wines@Fortezza (July 1st)
Before the main gates open at the Garden, the celebration begins at the top of the city. On July 1st , the historic Fortezza Fortress hosts Wines@Fortezza .
