Michalis Tzouganakis Live in Armenoi, Rethymno – Feast of Christ the Savior Thursday, August 6, 2026 - 20:30 (8:30 PM) Organized by the Cultural Association of Armeni On Thursday, August 6th, the Cultural Association of Armenoi invites locals and visitors to their traditional feast (Panigiri) dedicated to the holiday of Christ the Savior. The highlight of the night is a live performance by Michalis Tzouganakis, one of Crete's well-known artists. Known for his incredible energy and his unique, modern way of playing the traditional Cretan lute (laouto), Tzouganakis guarantees a night full of deep emotion, fast-paced rhythms, and endless dancing. A traditional Panigiri is more than just a concert; it is a community celebration. Expect long tables filled with local food, cold drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone becomes one big group of friends.
