Haven van Rethymnon
Bij de haven van Rethymnon kan je de enorme betonnen golfbreker zien liggen. Als je wil, kan je vanaf deze plek ook een vis- of duikexcursie maken. Je ziet ook een vuurtoren die rond 1830 door Egyptenaren is gebouwd. De vuurtoren van Rethymnon is de op één na grootste overgebleven Egyptische vuurtoren in Griekenland, en hoewel de vuurtoren momenteel niet in bedrijf is, is hij wel even je aandacht waard. Geen betere plek om naar de azuurblauwe zee te staren.
