La Fortezza (romanisée : Fortetza ; de l'italienne pour "forteresse") est la citadelle de la ville de Rethymno en Crète, en Grèce. Il a été construit par les Vénitiens au 16ème siècle, et a été capturé par les Ottomans en 1646.Au début du XXe siècle, de nombreuses maisons ont été construites dans la citadelle. Ceux-ci ont été démolis après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, laissant seulement quelques bâtiments historiques dans la Fortezza.

Fortress of Rethymnon
The Fortezza (romanized: Fortétza; from Italian for 'fortress') is the citadel of the city of Rethymno in Crete, Greece. It was built by the Venetians in the 16th century, and was captured by the Ottomans in 1646. By the early 20th century, many houses were built within the citadel. These were demolished after World War 2, leaving only a few historic buildings within the Fortezza.
Today, the citadel is in good condition and is open to the public.
